Q: How do I install the Program?

A: First download the installation package and save it to a temporary folder on your hard disk (say c:\temp). Use Windows Explorer to locate the HijricalSetup.exe file on your disk and then Double-click on it.  This will start the installation process. For quick and easy installation take all the default options presented during this process.

Q: How do I add my own events?

A: On the main application window select menu command Options-Events List...?   where ? is replaced by the appropriate calendar type for which you want to add/modify the event.

A: Take care to make sure you use the correct sign convention for enterring longitude, lattitude and GMT offset values. Longitude and GMT offset is west positive while lattitude is North positive.

A: The zipcode feature only accepts five digit US zip codes. Take care to make sure there are no leading spaces when you enter a zip code as that might give an error.

Q: The beginning and end dates for daylight saving time is not correct ?

A: Make sure you have the correct time-zone setting on your PC and you have installed the apprpriate service packs from Microsoft regarding DST rules for your location.
